The Couples Health Reset
How Couples Health Coaching Works
Couples Health Coaching is designed to help partners improve their health together, in a realistic, supportive, and sustainable way. Instead of working in isolation, you’ll learn how to align your goals, support each other’s habits, and build a healthier lifestyle that fits your shared life.
1. Shared & Individual Goal Setting
We begin by identifying both shared goals and individual goals, such as:
Weight loss or body composition changes
Improving energy, sleep, and stress management
Building sustainable nutrition habits
Improving family nutrition and lifestyle
Preventing future health issues
This ensures that both partners feel heard, supported, and motivated.
2. Identify Barriers — Individually & As a Couple
We uncover:
Individual challenges (e.g. cravings, motivation, time, stress)
Couple dynamics that may support or hinder progress (e.g. food environment, routines, habits around eating or activity)
By identifying the root causes, we can work on solutions that support both of you. A growth-oriented and positive mindset is key, and I’ll guide you through this process every step of the way.
3. Comprehensive Dietary & Lifestyle Analysis
Each partner completes a dietary and lifestyle review so we can:
Understand current eating patterns
Identify nutrient gaps and excesses
Assess activity levels, sleep, and stress
Evaluate how your routines overlap as a couple
This gives us a clear starting point and helps tailor the plan to your real life.
4. Nutrition Education & Practical Tools (Individualized, Yet Aligned)
You’ll learn the fundamentals of healthy eating in a way that works for both of you, including:
Basics of balanced nutrition
Healthy grocery shopping lists
Meal planning support and simple recipes
Individual calorie needs calculated using nutrition software (for weight loss or gain)
Healthier food swaps
Understanding portion sizes and food labels
Weekly dietary analysis
You’ll also receive:
Free access to a nutrition tracking app to monitor nutrients, cholesterol, saturated fat, sodium, and sugar
Access to an app for activity tracking, habit tasks, recipes, and educational videos
5. Building Sustainable Habits — Together
We focus on creating small, realistic habits that fit into your shared lifestyle and lead to long-term results by:
Clarifying your individual and shared “WHY” and values
Understanding the phases of habit-building
Cultivating discipline through structure and accountability
Using your partnership as a source of motivation rather than pressure
6. Mindset, Behaviour Change & Long-Term Success
You’ll learn how to:
Build positive, supportive behaviours as a couple
Use visioning tools to stay motivated
Set realistic, achievable goals
Navigate setbacks without guilt or blame
The goal is not perfection—but progress, consistency, and a healthier life you can sustain together.
Couples Health Coaching helps partners build healthier habits together through personalized nutrition, lifestyle coaching, accountability, and mindset work—so change feels supportive, not overwhelming.
